Newer tow vehicles and rear view cameras on trailers/5ers

I have yet to see any integration of a rear view camera on a trailer with the OEM dash display of these newer trucks. This seems like such natural extension of the built in equipment. Am I missing s...

If memory serves me right, they will soon be required equipment on all cars, soon to be followed by all trucks.
I would guess the problem with tying them into the RV rear camera, would be coming up with a universal system for communication from camera to monitor.
Like having different operating systems.
