Newer tow vehicles and rear view cameras on trailers/5ers

No reason except for raising the consumer cost for folks that don't care to have one.

Personally, I'd rather have people looking around when backing instead of staring at the monitor in their dash. It doesn't tell you anything about what the front fenders are swinging in to. I've seen too many drivers let the monitor replace their mirrors and look at nothing else when backing.
