I try to tow from first light to beat the traffic and then stop around 3PM to setup camp for the night.That is normally the way we travel. Love leaving at first light and pulling into the next stop early. Gives us time to relax and prepare supper, then enjoy the evening.
However, we have traveled though the night on several occasions and would not hesitate to do it again if the whim strikes us. The only disadvantage of traveling through the night that I can see is if we were to have a breakdown. Night time darkness could really compound the emergency situation.
