I had a Nissan Xterra (which also has a soft rear suspension) towing a Rockwood A122 AFrame. I added the Timbren SES bump stops and the problem was solved.

The Timbren system does not effect the standard (non towing) ride in any way.

You can add them yourself in about 20 - 30 minutes.
