No Love From Wall Street

According to these reports despite the strong performance investors don't see continued growth in the Automotive Segment.

GM Q1 2016 earnings

Ford Q1 2016 earnings

FCA Q1 2016 earnings

I know some of this has been posted but the Ford earnings were just announced. The Wall Street love is just as tepid for all three despite their gains. All of their stock prices are lower then their 2014 highs.

  • Couldn't care less. Well, that's not really true, but I don't tune into an RV forum for financial news/advice. :R

Ford stock is still a lot higher than when I purchased it at $1.85 @ share several years ago. My only mistake was that I didn't purchase more at the time. ;)
  • Personally a long term investment in Ford and GM seems a safe play. FCA is more risky IMO but could pay huge if managed well.
