Pedestrian safety may be an issue with the Cybertruck design whether Musk is driving or someone else. Europe mandates certain designs that help protect a pedestrian when hit:

Pedestrians should be afraid no matter what Elon is driving. He doesn't look like the most skilled driver. He completely took out the parking sign leaving the restaurant in the truck.
