No more full size cars from GM

February 28 2020 GM will shut down the plant that produces the Impala, Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac CT-6 and retool the plant to build electric pickups.
  • They have not made true luxury automobiles for many years, they've been trying to imitate European cars. I would order tomorrow, in a heartbeat, another 1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille De'Elegance.

As for me. I love my Taurus, and wouldn't trade it for any SUV on the market. Ride is style, and comfort. At 80 mph. you can't even feel it moving. And it gets 29 MPG.

That is my exact feeling with our Taurus as well. We can get 31-32 mpg depending on weather, but we have no stop and go traffic to deal with.
