I also camp out in 3 seasons, in altitude with no electric but do not full time. I'm out anywhere from a 3 day weekend to 2 weeks so yes to the part of I can get by without an oven.
But really, stand out in the rain? For those of you who made this comment, do none of you have awnings? And yes, I also used my TT out on the Oregon coast where it is frequently windy.
