The battery rail on the OP's trailer is already as low as it can go and already will accommodate a single G31 BUT not a pair of batteries. Had the OP provided a link to pics of his model of trailer this - and alternate solutions - would be obvious, as it was to me when I Googled a YouTube video of his particular make / model / year of trailer.
