Non luan laminated walls

Besides the Koala and Visa, what brands use non luan (wood) backed wall material?

  • 4: Won't delaminate and reduce the value of your rig to scrap. Delamination is a matter of when, not if, with the luan stuff, especially in more humid areas of the US.
  • 1) It's lighter. 2) Adds more insulating value to the walls. 3) Will not rot or swell in the event of a leak.

    Why is this important??
  • A lot of manufacturers are moving to Azdel. It has a lot of advantages. Heartland has it in some of their models.
    Azdel
  • Some Forest River brands are using it also - their motorized division uses it in all vertical surfaces.
  • Ones I know of in 2013:
    Lance
    Coachmen Apex & FreedomExpress
    Heartland North Trail
    Skyline Koala
    Possibly Gulfstream GulfBreeze?
Evergreen Everlite uses compositek but it may be an option in 2013. Standard before that.

Think all these use wood in the roof. Evergreen Everlite started that in 2013.

And all use wood in the floor except Evergreen Everlite.

There are also the Aluminum and Al-laminate trailers with no wood shell.
