Can't help you with the CG, but as a point of reference for towing. Last summer the wife and I towed our 28' 5'er behind a Ram 2500 CC LB all the way from Crescent City to Ft Bragg. We took Hwy 1 from Leggitt Ca to Ft Bragg. It was definitely curvy in some parts. We are around 45-46' OAL.
I do remember a really cool CG that was right on the beach. You looked down on it when rounding one of the curves up on a bluff. Can't remember the name though.
