I'd be interested. Roaring Camp is a cool place to camp. In the spring they have a HUGE civil war re-enactment. Cannons, field hospital complete with amputations, (simulated of course) An MC narrating the whole thing during the battles and between battles you can walk the camps and talk with the participants.
Of course there's the train and a trip to Santa Cruz with it's boardwalk and other attractions.
I'm in Placerville, CA area and we always enjoy the high country for camping too.
I'm for keeping it to truck campers only mainly so we can relate and not have to deal with DW ogling the "big rigs" of which I have no interest. Ha! No hook ups for up to 4 or 5 days is fine with me if it gets us something remote.
