Sorry about the lack of response, for some reason I never received an e-mail letting me know I had a personal message. Fortunately I am not impacted by the fires, I'm in the South Bay Area (Gilroy) so safe and well. The devastation is hard to watch on the news.
Yes, the event is still on but I haven't had any early bird people sign up just yet. I figured people were letting it sit for a bit before they picked it up again and made commitments. It would be really nice to get at least a few RSVPs now because we have until the end of December to try to get enough RSVPs to book out the entire campground. If I don't have enough RSVPs by then or haven't seen enough activity to get a good feeling we will easily be able to get those numbers, I will have to release the full site and go for individual spots.
For anyone that is thinking about going and can plan this far out, it would be great if you could RSVP soon. To sign up, go to my first post on this thread and you will see the links to my website where you can make your payments.
I have been asked if it is okay to bring cargo trailers. I have asked that myself and I was told that a small cargo trailer should be okay. They do have a large overflow parking lot that is down by the road so worse case you may have to leave it down there. I would ask though that you only bring a cargo trailer if there is a specific need (such as traveling a long distance and need to haul additional items). If you are local to the area and can do without, please do so just so we don't overwhelm the campground.
If anyone has questions, please post them here as I do get notices for the threads and I can answer questions that others might be having. Looking forward to seeing you all!
