I have a digital clamp-on amp meter I'll bring. It's both AC and DC. Very useful to determine current loads on either individual appliances, total power usage, etc. I used mine to determine how much power my lights vs LED lights used, my heater's high/low speed fan draw, phantom drains like my rechargeable flashlight, TV set, etc. Even my solar panels. It will also work to see if your truck's alternator and wiring is in good shape.
