We have an NL 10-2 CD SE. We are currently in the Rochester, NY area and this morning when we used the water and the pressure dropped the pump would not run. I suspect it was cold enough last night that some ice formed. Eventually it thawed as the morning warmed up and the pump ran fine again. As noted, there is duct work into the inner forward corner of the dump valve/water pump compartment but since it is not powered it does not seem like much heat would get down it. The furnace was running last night. Tonight, I turned on the 12v incandescent light in the pump compartment for a little heat in it. Normally, we winterize (and will do so this week when we are home. We are in Rochester with the TC one week a month even through the deep of winter. February, as a month set an all time record last year (140+ years of record) of 12* average temp for all hours of the month. We put a Porta Potti in the bathroom and use that. We jug our water. Since dump stations up here are closed, the Porta Potti makes sewage management easier. No showers in the TC until Spring. Since we are driveway camping for elder care duties, this works for us. We do go through quite a bit of propane. Long story short, without significant modifications, this camper, much as we love it, is not in any way a 4 season camper if one season is deep northern wnter.
