We have a 2003 Northstar Laredo purchased early spring 2004. Our repair history is:
-water line repaired under warranty
-overhead light problem fixed at no cost several years after warranty expired
-replaced thermostat in 2014
We are not in the high usage group with 10-15 nights per year and keep the camper either on the truck or in a metal shed so others may offer a better test of durability but we are very satisified with ours.
There are several good camper manufacturers that may offer a better choice for you but Northstar will never be a bad choice.
