That may be true on MH type RVs with propane tank.......trailers have cylinders and no LP solenoid just on/off valves on cylinders.
LP detectors in trailers are alarm only...no shutoff action
I'm wondering where that came from also. I've never seen a propane cutoff connected to a sensor. More bad information, courtesy of RV.net.
