I had some minor issues with mine but I am more likely to blame the dealer who obviously did not do a PDI. Torn shower seal, broken blind, chipper drawer front and I later found they had not hooked up the ground on the Microwave circuit inside the converter. obviously they do not stick a tester into each outlet as they come off the line. Northwood shipped me all the parts as they were easy fixes.
Apart from that I have a couple of design complaints regarding the TV which is in the ceiling. It can bounce down on the slide corner in transit, which i fixed by adding a safety chain. Also the DVD is tied to it through the ceiling and despite both being HDMI compliant, they used an AV cable. It is not in conduit so I can't pull a new one through. They say it is satellite ready and have hookup for it, but nowhere to place a receiver. That does not bother me as the last thing i want to do while camping is watch TV.
I did look at a few other brands and the Arctic Fox seemed to be better built on the whole. I was not overly impressed with Lance. There will always be things not quite right in any RV. One reason I did buy from Northwood is that it is a days drive from here.
