Typical RV construction. Maybe not all have this many issues but others have more. IMO you could've had the same model sitting next to yours on the lot and you just happened to buy the crappy one. Just wondering if the slit on the bottom was done at the dealer? Maybe fixing something?
JMHO but you can't just assume that an RV is going to be right. They all are not made equal. Like I said the one next to yours may have been near perfect.
IMO, if you're that picky then you should've been looking that thing over with a magnifying glass and should've passed. How could you of missed the tear in ceiling? And why didn't you crawl under the TT and look?
When I bought our 5'er I spent a good hr opening every drawer, door, running faucets, AC, Awning, lights, tv, stereo, etc. I used the ladder to climb up on the roof. I literally crawled underneath and looking at frame, axles, tires, the pipes, etc.
No one should ever just assume that the RV they're buying is going to be put together right. I can go into any and find flaws. It's just the nature of the game.
As far as the slit in the ceiling goes, if the dealer did it then he should've fixed it. If NW did it then the dealer should've sent it back or fixed it with NW's money. Also if NW did it then it should've never left the plant.
Other than the slit and the underbelly tear I didn't see anything that I haven't seen before.
