The underbelly tear may have been from a delivery agent attaching a wide load sign or any other cause, we'll probably never know. The slit in the ceiling could be from an over-exuberant sales person with a clip board or any other cause, we'll never know. The other items are certainly done on the plant floor and I don't believe that is the ordinary quality of Northwood mfg. To think that every accessory and piece of trim is going to be checked with level and rule is kind of naive. That is not common place in an industry like trailer building. The off-angle screws indicate to me a hand with an unattached brain lobe, the one that controls redoing something that is amiss. I work with my hands every day and have that lobe-to-hand and eye connection. I don't think anyone can expect the installer to go back and paint the slot of a screw, though. If it is that worrisome to the owner, he could go back with Q-tip and paint and catch that, himself.
IMO, these RV's are not without at least a minimum of owner DIY. We hear all types of horror stories about leaking and some of them are the result of no owner involvement. This is rolling stock and they do need maintenance.
