Yes, I've verified those numbers from the sticker on the door. It has a towing capacity of 8700 and payload of 1500. The unloaded weight of the trailer is 6500 and we added an electric tongue jack to it. Yes, I know the payload will have to be carefully monitored but yesterday it was just me and no gear, unless you count my purse. We've added some of our camping gear today and we will take it to the scales after we have "backing" lessons tomorrow.
