:) Hi, I have been towing for over ten years with a 2000 Lincoln Navigator. Mine has the factory tow package with 3:73 gears, 1600 lbs payload, and 8,900 lb rating. Mine has the 32 valve 5.4 V-8 with 300 horse power and 355 lbs torque at 2,750 RPM. I have towed in all kinds of weather; Some, where other people would have stayed home. My trailer is 25'er and has a GVWR of 6,300 lbs. My Lincoln is in the process of being replaced, as a tow vehicle, with a 2014 F-150 Ecoboost. My Lincoln has been up many mountains including those in Colorado. It worked hard at times, but those mountains couldn't kill my Lincoln. Now I know your trailer is different than mine, But I know that I'm not he only one successfully towing with a Navigator.
