There could be two things MOST likely to do what you describe:
Make sure the Over Drive Button is not engaged. Try both positions.
Check your manual for tow/haul mode. Make sure you are in T/H mode.
3rd and its not very likely but if you had a 30mph headwind on your trip home this could very well keep you at 50.
