Make sure your tires are aired up to Max PSI.
That motor will pull it no problem...at all..
My 5.4 v8 in my old 1997 was happy pulling grades at 4500-5000 RPM's... I just let it rev..
I bought a V10 F350 ... which is basically a 5.4 with two more cylinders... it climbed the same hills at 4500-5000 RPM as well.
Getting a bigger truck will not mean the motor will not rev... even a diesel has to rev to make power... the difference is that the Diesel has a lower RPM band so people look at a revving diesel at 2800-3200 ish rpm and say its all good...when really.. its close to redline... depending on the diesel that is.
If you want a new truck.. go get one... but that Navigator is perfectly capable of doing the job.
