Note to self: Always double check the hitch pin is in before pulling out. Good thing the safety chains were short!
In my case I was still a newbie and I didn't have my WD dialed in. I managed to tow it 2 hours through mountains to a state park without problems because the weight of the tongue kept it in place. No harm done but boy was I shocked when I noticed it wasn't there... - kyhawkExplorerNote to self. It doesn't do much good to write notes if you forget to read them (or forget where you put them).

- Sillybugs2ExplorerLove these! I am now in charge of staying outside to remove chocks when dh pulls up two inches to release them. Also my job to secure things on trailer. Open dish soap sloshing around the floor for two hours makes A huge mess.
- petetdyExplorerNote to self: remove all bottled water when you winterize. Three gallons of water make a mess out of wood trim.
- 4x4BobExplorerNote to self: Do not remove the street side x-chock from between tires before bringing in slide out. Because the the other chock will still between tires when you try to pull out.
This story was over heard in a bar of course. :W
bob - Gene_GinnyExplorerNote to self: Check the distance from the rear bumper to the campground sewer connection BEFORE leveling, unhooking, stabilizers down, awning out, water connected, etc.
I now know my RhinoFlex 15 ft and 10 ft extension will reach 11 ft 6 inches from my rear bumber and the connection was 11 ft 5 inches. If I parked 2 inches further forward I would have been going to Walmart for a 5 ft sewer hose extension. :C - Doug33Explorer

Note to self. Make sure your cat didn't climb inside the trailer just before you depart.
I thought I was the only one. This actually happened to us many years when we had a PU. And it was a stray cat that was hanging around our house. It must have climbed in while I was packing. It was a real surprise when it popped out at the campground when setting up! - Nutinelse2doExplorerNote to self- when we can't find the coach keys the next day...look in the door lock... Outside
another note to self- check the toilet before we park the rig in 110 degree weather for DH's pee in the toilet. Doh! - Aluminum_SidingExplorerNote to self. Make sure your cat didn't climb inside the trailer just before you depart.
