Nothing like early season camping

There is nothing like early season camping. Chilly temps a cool wind. A beautiful view. And as always the few things that you forget to bring on the first trip. My 2 yr old has been asking for this trip since December. I love this. Will post pictures wen I am not on my tablet.

Majja, I see you are from SLC, mind if I ask where you went? I am, always looking for good early season locations. We took our first trip a couple weeks ago, 25 at night was a little low, but it was a great time none the less. We are headed out again next weekend (unknown location) and then the next weekend headed down to Zion.

Yuba State park. Temps have been decent it was 64 yesterday just windy as a storm is coming in this afternoon. So I do not think we will be hanging out to much this morning.
  • Heading to Zion and surrounding areas for the next week. Cant wait to get back to camping with the family.
  • Our first trip this year was a week at the coast in Feb. We spent last week at a nearby lake, weather was in the mid 70's - shorts and T-shirt. Planning a two week trip to the southern Oregon coast after Easter.
  • I want to go camp on the coast some day. I have always wanted to camp on the beach where you could hear the ocean.
