November pick up truck sales figures

By my calculations gm total truck sales ytd are 734,253. Fseries is 695,143. This is a win for Ford how?

I love my new Silverado, but do like all of the big 3 trucks. I also like ford and have owned Ford trucks so I'm not brand biased.

They are both doing well and I'm glad for that personally!

Never understood why some folks here care about sales figures. I just buy what I like.

GMC's drop could very well be due to the success of the Colarado and Canyon. Most of the GMC's I see are typically used for personal transportation. They are very nice and very car like in both appearance and driving, but like all full size pickups are too wide for many parking spots in populated areas. The new light GM twins solve that problem and still provide the working duties most half ton owners require. Not necessarily for folks on an RV forum but certainly for many others.

Nice growth for the Chevy for the year, and good monthly growth for Ford. They must finally have F150 availability.

I would think being such a small (relatively speaking)player their dealer network can really impact those results. Have a few dealers with a bad month or not getting the word out on rebates etc and the numbers get skewed quickly.

Curious why GMC dropped so much, but Chevy is doing fine... Personally I like the GMC a little better than the Chevy. Not enough to actually buy one of the, just saying.

Personally I'm a Ford guy but I love to see a strong performance by all brands. Ram has made incredible progress with a vastly improved product, GM and Ram's comeback story after bankruptcy is awesome.

Just some helpful advice: if you don't care about sales figures, don't click on the thread and read it. It's not as if the title was misleading or unclear right?

What stuff? If you are referring to posts about sales you may want to refresh your memory. Or maybe you are using a weighted average where the last one equals 100%.
