Chrysler will be fine, wall street journal indicated no financial strain from this issue. That being said, all of them need to belly up to the bar and get it right. What this does is send a strong shot across the bow that doing the right thing can be the lowest cost decision in the long run.
We certainly don't need any of these companies to go down/ heck Ram is the most innovative of them all with very competitive products that give all of us another choice to drag our toys around. I am a Ford guy, but looking at the eco diesel as an option to possibly reduce fuel cost in half over our current f150,a big deal over the next 8 years and expected 200k miles.
Bad week for the Italians, but they will come back stronger than ever. I hope anyway!!
