I guess the wife and I just bought a new TT... happened pretty fast. We will now need to get rid of the Jayco hybrid. No dealer trade.Trailer is new, 2014 Palomino SolAire Eclipse 307QBDSK. Dealer is going out of business I guess, and it's been sitting there for a few years. It is a new model, never titled.We paid around 55% of listed MSRP according to my web searches, and less than the average current retail price per NADA, so seems like a decent deal. I can't tell on the NADA sites if those are used or new prices.Is the Palomino SolAire line of trailers a good trailer?Anything to be aware of?Thanks! Excited and nervous all rolled into one!

Too late to ask that question.Let the emotions settle down.Good is a relative term among users that have good luck and some that don't.It is all opinions if that is what you want.Use it and hopefully you got a good one,everybody makes good and bad ones.

IMO, Palmino have always been pretty good looking. Never owned one but have friends and family that have them. I don't hear a lot of squawking.

Good advice. And glad to hear no real squawking among owners. Deal isn't signed yet, so I guess there's still time to change my mind after a beer and a good nights rest.

I'll give a thumbs up for the Palomino Solaire. No complaints yet. I'm impressed with the smart use of space, in the 251RBSS anyway. Enjoy your new toy!

Are you asking for our blessing or to tell you to back out of it. If it's what you want go for it. If you have to get our approval then you have doubts, run away. Is it a good deal, you will know in a year when there has been no maintenance issues. Pay cash and you will sleep better at night.

Palomino is one of the few brands I don't hear bad things about. It sounds like a heck of a good deal. I would already be out camping in it.

Dealer is legit from what I can tell. He started servicing trailers and got into sales, and I guess the sales didn't work out. He's located in the middle of nowhere for the most part, so I am guessing that's part of it, but who knows.

Since the trailer is still new, it comes with a 1-year warranty. But I will still check things out, including the tires and roof.

As for warranty work, I guess he is still going to service trailers. But there are 2 other Palomino dealers within 30 minutes of me, so I would think they would honor any service needs.

I'd check the date codes on the tires and take a look at the roof before I bought something that was sitting on a lot for 2- 3 years. Hopefully you checked out all the systems.
