I'm not against technology but there is something to understanding the basics. I can trouble shoot computers way better than my teenagers. I grew up programming Basic, Pascal, and using DOS commands. Programmers today still need to understand binary code even if they aren't programming in ones and zeros.
If my truck had this I might use it but I still want to know how to back up if technology failed. Of course I probably couldn't back a trailer with it because I would turn the knob the wrong way. I just know which way to turn the wheel to back up by instinct and thinking about it messes me up. I tried the "put your hand on the bottom of the wheel" for the heck of it and it messed me up royally. Hand back on top and life is good.
