Aside from the critical items listed above, I also pay attention to ergonomics - my 6'3", skinny-but-broad-shouldered husband doesn't fit in some showers; and some toilets are placed so close to walls/cabinets, that, um, "proper potty hygiene" becomes an issue. And after owning a 5er, whose black/gray tanks low point was on the curb side, but the valves were on the street side, making getting all the water out of the system for winter storage a PITA.... (or is the kitchen big enough to prepare even a small meal?) well, that's the sort of stuff I pay attention to now.
