That's a lot of truck! Same thing must have been wrong with your Cummins Ram that was wrong with my four Cummins Rams. Everyone else's tows like a Signature 600 in an OTR tractor. :B
I am simply being honest, I know a lot of folks many of them friends who will tell you how their Dodge, Ford, Chevy, one ton will pull up a grade and get 15-20mpg while doing it, I just smile as I know better.
With the money I have in my one ton if it would do the job I wanted it to do I wouldn't have spent more money on another truck. With the Ram if I could hit a 7% grade at 65 mph and NOT have to slow down for other traffic or a curve it would hold that speed to the top of the hill; however if I had to slow down for any reason I could NEVER regain that speed without melting the engine.
5.9 liters, dyno tested 347 hp and 730 foot pounds of torque to the rear wheels will NOT do what 12.7 liters 470 hp and 1,600 foot pounds of torque will do, its just that simple.
