In my opinion more horse power will allow you to go faster once your moving, torque is what gets the load moving. Torque is what gets you up hills. I hang out with some guys who have well over 500 horse power in their pickups but they have no where near the torque of the HDT. You simply can't argue the math, more displacement, and more torque will out perform in a TOWING application a smaller displacement higher horse power engine every time, get better fuel mileage doing it and last WAY longer.
