If you are doing 65 at the bottom of a max interstate grade , you will be still be doing 65 at the top ,on the way up if you need to pass a slow mover you can accelerate to any speed you want up the governed speed- 87 in my case.
From a dead stop at the bottom of the same hill you will still get to 65 ,in fact hills don't matter ,it takes a while to run up through the gears but flat or grade the rate of acceleration doesn't vary noticeably . This all happens at between 1100 and 1500 RPM.
the boost gauge gets to 40 psi (max 60psi) and the egt comes off the peg,all the while engine temps stay 175 -180 all day.
Now at the time mileage drops to 3-4 MPG.
Mileage since I bought it 99% towing is 9.5 mpg
