Yes, I have. If I did a lot of traveling in areas that would be likely to be covered in snow and ice I would buy a set of the auto-chains, however at the price of nearly 5,000 dollars installed I'll just wait out the storm.

$5000? Ouch! I had no idea they were that much. For a couple of air solenoids, rubber discs and chain pieces that seems pretty steep. You could probably make some for a fraction of that.
