That was my experience with the 285's. I also had to trim some plastic from the inner wheel wells. I had aftermarket 8" wheels with a slightly different offset.
OBX...what are you running for wheels with he 285's?

I ran Pacer aluminum wheels. I can't find the info online now but they matched the tire weight rating. After my Michelins dry rotted, I went back to factory wheels with 265 Cooper AT3's
