That aside:
Truck's so new, seems like buying a replacement bumper from the factory might be in order.
Would you believe you could drive 25 miles with no pin thru the receiver to hold the hitch attached to the truck. Thats how far I drove before my sons travel trailer decided to detach from the truck except for the safety chains. No damage to the trailer and just my bumper. I was using a turn over hitch. One ball on the top and a different size ball on the bottom. The hitch ball stayed attached to the trailer and the trailer skidded on the bottom ball. I probably drug it 1/4 mile skidding behind me before I stopped. I was trying to keep it from hitting the back of the truck.
I retrospect I should have used the manual control for the trailer brakes and I probably could have avoided any damage. Actually, in retrospect I should have put the pin thru the reciever and hitch
