oil change question

Changing oil brands doesn’t matter at all.
Changing viscosity, syn, blend, and a persons personal opinion on OCIs is very subjective and mostly bunk.
Change the oil as reccomended and be done with it.
Syn vs non syn is preference in most situations as well. Yes syn goes longer. Adjust accordingly.
I’ve driven, managed, been around, maintinaed and repaired more engines than 90% of people and (personal preference because it’s cheap) every 4 cycle engine I own save for a couple special applications gets whatever 15-40 oil that’s on sale.
Turbo, na, gas, diesel, 500hp or 15hp.
I have high mile vehicles that don’t burn oil, 25-30 year old mowers, 500hp perf car, tuned diesel., etc. they all run fine.
The most important thing is change the oil on time or sooner. It’s CHEAP to do if you want it to last.
