oil choice for diesel
I know this has probably been discused before,but what is the best oil for 2006 ram diesel filter choice? thank for any suggestions

My '03 5.9 Cummins HO was the first HPCR engine year. The oil stays honey color for the first 2500-3500 miles when new depending on how its was worked.
Now with over 325k miles it starts turning brown around 2000 miles and black at 3500 miles all depending on how hard its worked.
The '03 and up 5.9 HPCR 305/555 engines (non California) had a 7500/15000 oil change schedule. I use the 15k miles oil/filter change much of the time.
