2 quarts is 20%. That seems like a lot.
Here's my story FWIW.
I bought a new Duramax in 2002 and drove it for approximately 110,000 miles. At about the 105,000 mile mark, it started using a lot of oil. Like several quarts per tank of fuel. So off it went to the dealer. They found that the turbo bearing oil seal had failed. The lubricating oil was collecting in the intercooler (I think) and was not being burned.
So I think this is something you might want to at least be aware of as a possibility. I do remember that over a period of time, the power seemed to be decreasing, like the turbo was not doing it's job real well. My guess is it was partially froze up.
