Okay, here goes... Yes I am a hillbilly! I can probably find a couple of pieces of schedule 80 or heavier (what we call triple heavy)pipe that would slip over the upper perches. That would engage the top overload spring sooner, decreasing the sag when loaded. Looks like what stable load is doing with their upper overloads. Thanks, John
