Okanagan Camper Question (re Rear Bumper)

Good day,

We have a 2006 Okanagan 811-SL. On the underside of the rear bumper, the factory welded on four brackets as below:



The previous owner bolted some short 2 X 4's into them, to which the accordion steps attach. Is there some other purpose for them, other than attaching 2 X 4's? :h

  • Thanks for the ideas... The former owner installed a system that I'm not too fussy about, so I'll be mulling over a different -- hopefully better -- way to do it.
  • Those bracket are for attaching a step. Mine has a single step that swings up and sits on the bumper. When you use the step swing it down. If you want a pic PM ME
  • If it is like my Host, they are probably brackets to attach steps. One right under the door and one offset for towing.
