Didn't listen to it, but presume the Dmax is bone stock since no smoke.
Altitude hurt the NA raptor. Would be that bit faster at sea level and keep up.
Spend $500 on each of them and watch the LB7 walk the gasser like a dog with just a canned tune in the 100-150hp range.
Pound for pound the early Dmaxes are some of the quickest cheap working mans vehicles out there from that era. With just an Edge tuner, my old LB7 ran neck n neck from a dig or a roll with a good running 4.6L Stang GT with every bolt on mod short of a blower. Only car I really raced with it save for a few stoplight runs with random cars.
It surprised me how quick it really was. Those trucks will run 13s with just a tune and nothing else.
