Had this happen to me,,, Bought four NEW St Maxxis tires from a local recommended shop,,, the guy rings me up I pay,, go to drive home and I see the tires are two years old,,, I go back in and the manager is acting like I am an idiot!!Tells me it makes no difference,, its the warranty not the age of the tires!!! Tell him to take them off,, I want new,, he says he will have to charge me a mount and dismount fee,,,I tell him a few things that I souldnt have!!!
Then I tell him,,, "Your right,, its the warranty,, So being I am two years into the warranty to refund me the depreciation difference" he then says I will warranty them personally, I tell him,, no I will take the depreciation difference out in a rental fee for these tires and when new ones (with in 6 months old) come in I will bring the trailer back and you can have these...
A week later new tires and I will never do business there again!!!
