Fleets retread tire casings 2-4 plus times. Surely they are over 1-2 years old.
Aircraft run retreads that are Who knows how old.
I suppose I don't see the issue here. Goodness, the tires were 2 years old from manufacture.. But they stayed out of the sun, on a rack, for the whole time.
My new to me Treadwrights I am about to order for my Dually will certainly be over 2 years old and on their second life. I won't even blink about it.
I may have tried to get a discount for the NOS tires, but I would have ran them, no problem at all.
