Oliver Travel Trailers?

OLIVER TRAVEL TRAILERS

Has anyone ever seen, used, or owned one of these?

They are manufactured about 80 miles from where I live---in Middle TN, NOT Indiana.

Sounds like the trailer business was started as an offshoot to their other fiberglass manufacturing.

I was impressed by the description of the construction, and the quality. The basic trailer is nicely equipped, and the option list is extensive.

And, almost best of all..... they don't use ugly gaudy fabrics & wallpaper borders!
  • Oliver has been around a while now. I've never heard any complaints about them. I think they fall right in line with other fiberglass egg-style campers.

Here's a web site you might find beneficial. Click here.
This will give you a much better picture of what they are all about!

    Good luck! and Happy camping!
  • We stopped in there to check them out for a friend. They are very heavy duty and not lightweight for the size. That's not surprising as quality is usually heavier.

I dont remember the exact model, maybe a 17'? It had the four 6 volt slide out battery tray, Satellite, Cell boost, Solar options. $48,000

DW said she was claustrophobic in there. I'm sure if it's what you are looking for it will probably do it well. Weighs about 7,000 lb.

It reminds me of a boat inside. Very smooth and all stainless hardware. Dinette is bed.

    Lots of detail here.
  • I've been in several at fiberglass trailer rallies. They are the best small trailer on the market (IMHO) and their prices reflect the quality. My only complaints are they are narrow (less space inside) and too bright inside with lots of white fiberglass and mirrored cabinet fronts. I can't afford one anyway. There is an owners forum linked below.

  • Thanks for the info & links.

I expect they are out of my price range, but a friend is interested in them.
  • They are top of the line for molded fiberglass trailers. I have not heard any complaints on the FiberglassRV forum.
  • I noticed that they come with Michelin tires. No ST tires from this trailer manufacturer.

Single axle trailer? Are ST tires really needed. There's very little side resistance on a single axle trailer. Tandem axles, yes, lots of side pressure.

I'm just guessing? My opinion really means nothing! :E
