olympic peninsula campgrounds suggestions
We are heading up to Port Townsend and olympic peninsula for a couple weeks. We have two nights reservations for Fort Worden but nothing after that. Any ideas?

There is a very nice County campground at the base of the Dungeness Spit. It is called the Voice of America. You can hike the spit (7 miles each way) and there is a 100 + acre open area next to the park. There are no hook-ups but there are showers. You camp near the bluff so you have a nice view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island.
