We did 10,000 km last summer with one. It still works fine. We have some bungies and hooks in the wall to strap it onto the counter when travelling. We have had one bounce off the counter before we started securing it. The kitchen was right over the axles. We don't empty it for travel (but don't top it up right before leaving either). We do bring it into the house for the winter.
