I'd thought along those lines as well, but the mgr at the tire shop today said he's seen that before. His guess is that the front tire picked it up and it landed just right. Only regret is that I didn't buy new batteries in advance for my TPMS system. As luck would have it, on the way home the LR inside dual sensor started whining for a replacement battery. Murphy was watching and waited until the wheels were put back on the truck before letting me know the battery was low. ;)
