Only in your deams

Must admit these are dream cars most likely over the edge, but I'm sure there are good ones out there still. I know my neck of the woods still have plenty of old junkers in barns and out buildings.
This split window Vette is rare, but most likely rusted through the frame, so sad.
Never know what one will find though just driving through the small town America.
CLICKY

And don' look at the other advertisement sights guys :B
  • Many of those are truly amazing. Why they sit rotting away is both a mystery and a travesty.

Yes, what are people thinking? They could sell the cars 'as is' and still make some money.
I'm betting we won't be seeing barn finds in Cuba. :)
  • Many of them are in the "I'm going to restore it someday" classification. Sometimes there is a sad story, like a son who parked it there and never came back home for whatever reason.

If you like this sort of thing check out Cars in Barns or Barn Finds
  • I ran across a 70 Plymouth Superbird several years ago in a remote part of South Dakota. It was in rough condition, and it had lumber piled on top of it. I wanted to talk to the owner, and he came out with a shotgun and threatened to use it unless I got off his property.
  • I had a next door neighbor that drank a lot of beer and never drove his super bee with a beer in his hand. years later after they had moved down the street he bought a 1963 split window corvette. Many years and many beers had passed before the car was finished. The first drive and many beers later the corvette was totaled hugging a telephone pole. The rest of the story is the many beers killed him 2 years ago.
